Current status of the Bwoga Library Construction

November, 2021

Dear Friends and Well-wishers of the BEL Initiative,
Thank you so much for your continued support of the BEL project as we stride toward empowering the children and people of Bwoga in Uganda.  I would like to take this opportunity to update you on what has come to pass since my last report.
The start of the construction of the library was delayed because Uganda was under a countrywide COVID-19 lockdown. The lockdown was lifted on August 2, 2021, and since then library construction is progressing well as seen in the picture below.

The construction of the library started on August 30 and is expected to be completed by September 1, 2022. As of today (October 12, 2021), the building foundation and substructure have been completed. I have included the building-progress-pictures showing the progress of the construction to date. I have also included below a 3D picture of the library to give a general overview of the library once it is completed.

You are most welcome to continue supporting this great cause as we build together a library to help children in the Bwoga community acquire a good education. Thank you very much.
